Tonight I'm coming through with a highly requested blog post! I'm going to be doing a haul and review of the glasses I ordered from eyebuydirect.com 👓

The last pair of glasses I bought was over two years ago, so I was in desperate need of a new pair. I was recommended to use this site by a colleague, and holy SMOKES I am so glad she told me about this. 

Like everyone, ever... I don't want to spend money on necessary things. Like food, and eyewear (can I get an amen.) So when she told me how inexpensive this site was and how great of luck she had with them in the past, I knew I needed to give it a shot. 

There are SO MANY OPTIONS on the site!!! Like SOOOO many. However, the best thing of this whole experience (except the price $$$) was that their "try me on" feauture was exceptional. I was worried because when you were like 10... these websites would have features like, upload your picture and see what this hairstyle would look like on you. And it was AWFUL. Actually, borderline scary every time. So, good news! It was a much better experience than that! It was such good quality, it really helped me pick out which glasses would work for me. I've put an example below (LOL) 

 

I quickly had a cart full of like 20 glasses, and needed to narrow it down from there. The one thing to be mindful of is the sizing. They actually use S/M/L frame sizes but those sizes aren't consistent across each pair, so make sure you do your homework by measuring your current glasses, your pupillary distance and also having your prescription handy! They have really easy tools on the site that walk you through how to do all of the measurements. 

If it puts you at ease at all, I did all my measurements on my iPhone with a ruler app 😂 Living life on the EDGE. 

Lets get into the fun stuff, and show off the glasses I purchased! I went so far out of my comfort zone with all of these but I'm so glad that I did!!

These have been my ride or die, my go-to.. which is funny because these are the frames I thought I'd like the least! The little gold detail is ah-mazing. I was always scared of black frames, even when I had dark hair because I thought they would look too harsh on me. These have completely proved me wrong!! 

 

 

These were the most expensive of the lot, but they also came with a case 🙌🏻 I adore these and will probably be buying them in every colour... I wanted something muted so if I had a full face of cake, my makeup wouldn't get over powered by my glasses. It also reallly blends in to the blonde-Ness of my hair currently. These are a smaller frame than the others so these are right up my alley. 

 

 

I'm learning to love these! I THOUGHT these would be my go-to but I was surprised when I didn't absolutely love them! They're a lot brighter of a tortoise than I thought they would be, but like I said .. I'm learning to love!! 

 

 

And last but certainly not least, the invention that changed my life a few years ago.. prescription sunglasses. Hallelujah. I already have a black pair that I love and wear every single day, so I needed another pattern to add to the collection!
