I'm so excited to finally get this up. I received my Kylie order over a week ago but just got my colourpop order today so I wanted to wait and do a double whammy of a post. Also, pardon my appearance I got way too excited to post these so you're getting what you're getting. I've been dying for the Kylie metallics since their launch so when they got restocked a few weeks ago I thought ...what the heck, I'll give them a shot. I reeeeally wanted heir but they only had reign and king so I settled for those. Womp womp. 

I am loving reign, it's really not a summer colour but I'll for SURE get my use out of it this fall/winter. King on the other hand... Is not so cute (like I actually didn't even take a picture because it's sooo bad on me) It's STRAIGHT UP gold. I've been experimenting with mixing king with other colours but right now I'm not a huge fan. On the plus side though, that cupcake smell that everyone raves about is nooooo joke guys. They smell so delicious, it reminds me of a lip smacker or one of those flavoured glosses you'd use in elementary school. Love that! 

The whole shipping process was really smooth (other than the steep shipping costs UGH CAN I MOVE TO THE STATES?? Just kidding, Trudeau >). Also I can pretty much 1000% confirm that Kylie and colourpop are at the very least shipped out of the same factory. The postal codes for shipping labels were the same and the whole interface for both are identical. You're not fooling us, King Kylie. 

NOW! On to the oh so gooooood stuff. Just wanted to pick up some new summery colours and obviously my go to is colourpop. I don't find that the consistency of kylie and colourpop to be the same, which makes me think there has got to me SOME minor difference between the two. Kylie is a little thicker than colourpop for sure. 

From colourpop I ordered donut, shimmy, chi and highball (in that order below). Annnnnd surprise surprise I love them all. I really want to mix chi and king together. I also thought id like chi more than shimmy but OMG shimmy is so perfect. 

I also ordered a highlighter and a brow pomade so I'll be sure to give you all the deets on those once I check em' out.
